A collaboration between José Menéndez and Enne Studio, its a study in rawness — a gesture cast in silver, born from the act of mark marking.
The process begins with raw carving—scratches, lines, and impressions that register the motion of the hand. These marks are preserved through the lost-wax casting process, allowing the metal to retain evidence of its formation.
The resulting pieces are direct and tactile, defined by their irregularity rather than symmetry. They function as small studies of authorship and transformation: the moment when a gesture becomes symbol, when an instinct becomes form.
Rooted in a Caribbean sensibility, “tCaribe” considers the relationship between matter, identity, and place. The silver holds traces of warmth, erosion, and persistence—qualities of both environment and memory.
The collection is not about ornament but presence: a continuation of the maker’s mark through the permanence of metal.
